The crunch of red and yellow leaves underfoot signifies that the seasons are changing again.
The transition from one season to the next seems so distinct here; a sense that is heightened by the various festivals and special foods that are eaten throughout the year to mark the arrival of each new season.
This week the Cadets commence their Autumn Campaign – they have been working hard to prepare for this experience.
We will travel north of Tokyo and spend two days at both Takasaki Corps and Maebashi Corps where the Cadets will participate in a number of activities as part of their continued training – open air meetings, pastoral visitation, youth and children’s activites and cafe church to name a few.
Whilst its a great opportunity for the Cadets to develop their practical ministry skill sets, we’re trusting that as we minister to and alongside those already involved in these two communities, that the blessings will be mutual.
Will you keep us in your thoughts and prayers this week?
Many Blessings
